Our commitment

General Birchmark wants this store to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, or with magnification.

What we do

• Every page can be navigated by keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast guidance, and text can be resized without breaking the layout.
• Motion is subtle by design, and animation is reduced automatically when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.

Where we know we can improve

This is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state. We test as we build, but we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA across every page, and third-party components such as the checkout are outside our direct control.
