The collection
Why only six bags?
Because six is the number we can do properly. One shoulder bag silhouette family, worked on until it was right, offered in six colours we would actually want to own. Every decision — pocket placement, base reinforcement, gold or silver hardware — gets argued about, which is only possible when the range is small.
Are they all the same bag in different colours?
No. They share a standard — premium PU vegan leather, polyester twill lining, top zip, 55 cm adjustable strap — but the pieces differ. The Cobalt Blue has twin rolled handles and is the largest at 30 cm across. The Emerald has a sculpted bow and silver-tone hardware. The Ivory uses a textured woven finish. The Blush Pink is the only piece with an interior zip pocket plus two slip pockets.
Which one should I start with?
The Sage Green is the one we recommend to anyone buying their first colour — it sits beside navy, camel, cream and black without competing. If you want something that behaves like a neutral but is not one, the Blush Pink. If you need it for work, the Cobalt Blue takes an 11-inch laptop.
Are they leather?
No. Every piece is premium PU vegan leather. There is no animal leather anywhere in the collection.
Will there be more colours?
Yes, but slowly. New colours are added when they are right, not to a seasonal calendar.
Ordering
How do I know which size to choose?
Every product page lists full dimensions, strap drop and weight. The range runs from 26 × 18 × 10 cm (Emerald) to 30 × 22 × 12 cm (Cobalt Blue). If you are deciding between two, email us and we will talk it through.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email contact@generalbirchmark.store with your order number as soon as possible. We can usually amend or cancel before dispatch.
Does the strap come off?
On the Blush Pink, Cobalt Blue and Emerald Green, yes — those three are detachable as well as adjustable. On the Ivory, Sage Green and Ruby Red the strap is adjustable.
Shipping and returns
Is shipping really complimentary?
Yes, on every order, with no minimum spend.
How long do returns take?
You have 30 days from delivery. Refunds are processed within three business days of the return reaching us. Full details are on the Returns page.
Care
How should I store my bag?
In the dust bag it arrived in, away from direct sunlight and heat, lightly stuffed so it keeps its shape.
What if it marks?
Wipe promptly with a soft, slightly damp cloth and air dry naturally, away from radiators and direct heat. Pale colours — the Ivory, Blush Pink and Sage Green — pick up dye transfer from raw denim, so take a little care on the first few wears. Each product page carries care notes specific to that colour.
